The Miramar Hotel is located right in " Ratanakosin Island" the cultured old section of Bangkok, Very close to China Town. Famous temples such as Emerald Buddha Temple, Marble Temple, and Reclining Buddha Temple, the majestic Grand Palace, the Parliament, the Giant Swing, and numerious other historicsites are either within walking distance or a very short ride away. The popular " Koa San road" is nearby.

The Miramar Hotel is currently closed for complete renovation of its facilities and guest rooms. It will re-open in may of 2008 as a uniquely stylish boutique hotel with 128 rooms and suites.
